Dearest Anna, I want to renew my appreciation to you, all you do and
you have created in the past years for me and many other teachers and
students we all confirm your wonderful passion for this art, which I
appreciate especially now that I am a teacher.
When I came to you you encouraged me always, a gesture which added to
many more in the past with you all come to mind especially now with my
students. I dont have much time to dedicate to you as you've
always taught us all to collaborate but you know that I think of you
and thank you very much for everything. You taught me
never stop and surrounded all of us students with great respect. I

Anna Gotti played a major role in the founding of the Associazione Italiana Insegnanti di Canto and has been in leadership positions in the association since 1999. Her current role as the international coordinator has brought the study of teaching many singing styles to Italy. She is active in conferences thoughout the world and has become an important leader in the voice teaching profession. It has been my pleasure to know her and to work with her for the past several years.

When I think of Anna,
the first words that come naturally are: humility, professionalism,
curiosity and kindness. Tout un program ... - Diraient les Français!
- I met Anna at the fourth World Congress of Singing 's ICVT
(International Congress of Voice Teachers) in London in '97. I
encouraged her to create an association of singing professors in
Italy ... I was not alone in this (since I was then president of the
French association), because she seemed to us the right person for
this adventure as true pioneers! With great courage and talent
she managed to encompass a team of motivated people to activate
a research of training particularly difficult in Italy ... And
so it is nice to think that in the land of Belcanto a jazz-woman is
the vice-president of an association of teachers of singing that
makes room for all the trends ... singing!

Thank you very much for your kindness and your skill in conveying love for singing! You were very important to me and always will be my favorite voice teacher ! As I have already told you, I published my first single "Another Summer" in 2002 and was a great experience! It was broadcasted on almost all the radios and I went to "Top of the Pops" .. fantastic! I made my first video clip and am still wondering why the great cabarists Leo Gullotta and Gianfranco D'Angelo agreed to participate ... To tell you the truth they participated for free because they liked the idea of giving to charity the proceeds to the National League for the Defense of the dog! You know that I love dogs!
Last year I published "Cry" a really nice song .. was written by the authors of Celine Dion .. I was in Stockholm to record the single and the video was shot in Iceland! What an experience... I will never forget it! if you want I suggest a trip to visit Iceland .. endless landscape and colors! Friday, June 25th was released my third single, "Sun Sea love" a very cheerful summer song! I hope it will become the hit of the summer! I send you a big big kiss Elisa

I began my journey of understanding the voice with Anna many years
ago. She gave a lot and encouraged me. My voice has become a "way to
tell about myself" to others and a way to let others know what I
have inside to give. For this reason, perhaps, to describe the
friendship that binds us is better done ...... singing!
Capable and intelligent, Anna pursues with great enthusiasm what for
me is a vocation: teaching.
I shared with her many important working moments, including New York
and her cd''Ordinary Woman.''

It is difficult to imagine life as straight, clean & defined .. Perhaps it is for the chosen few who in most cases are not even aware of their fortunes. Mostly life is a tangle of wires: silk, cotton, jute, but also iron and unfortunately, barbed wire. At times we have to really feel the pain so as we can get to understand certain things .. During this complex and often painful situation , I found someone at the end of the line that I understood was a precious brocade (SINGING) - maybe invisible to others - -and the person was Anna, the best seamstress of the voice and life that I had the pleasure to meet. Thanks, Anna.

Anna is definitely all that and so much more, to meet her was one of the most interesting and successful experiences. The meeting with Anna Gotti was among the happiest I've ever had in my professional life. We met in 1998 at a seminar on Voice and the Alexander Technique. After a year I found myself as a student, not singing, of course, but the Alexander Technique. It was push, like most people, by necessity ... posture, reflected by the usual back pain. But his interest went beyond that, it involved his role as a singer and voice teacher, become aware, through experience, how important is the use of his body of artistic. I appreciate the confidence I had from the beginning in my guide manual, humility in accepting a new teaching and, later, the perseverance that has enabled it to consolidate the intimate experience of change and extend its life . Thus, over time, become a participant of the effects that this had on the quality of his voice and indirectly that of his pupils, some of which are in turn approached the Alexander Technique. After three years of lessons assiduous our relationship has created an interesting form of collaboration which has seen us both singing and teaching the Alexander Technique, with great satisfaction, and our students. Now I know Anna a few years, I have seen the enthusiasm with which he founded the AICI and has promoted high level efforts in the teaching of singing. Its ability to be both student and teacher allows her to continually evolve, giving shape and sound to his dreams, of which we all share. With affection Paul Frigoli, Teacher of Alexander Technique
L'incontro con Anna Gotti è stato tra i più felici che mi sia capitato di avere nella mia vita professionale. Ci siamo conosciuti nel 1998 ad un seminario sul Canto e la Tecnica Alexander. Dopo un anno me la sono ritrovata come allieva, non di canto, ovviamente, ma di Tecnica Alexander. Era spinta, come la maggior parte delle persone, da necessità… posturali, che si manifestavano con il solito mal di schiena. Ma il suo interesse andava oltre a questo, coinvolgeva la sua attività di cantante e di insegnante di canto, divenuta consapevole, con l'esperienza, di quanto fosse importante l'uso del suo corpo nell'espressione artistica. Ho apprezzato fin dall'inizio la fiducia che riponeva nella mia guida manuale, l'umiltà nell'accettare un insegnamento nuovo e, in seguito, la perseveranza che le ha permesso di consolidare intimamente l'esperienza del cambiamento e di estenderla alla sua vita professionale. Così, nel corso del tempo, divenivo partecipe degli effetti che tutto ciò aveva sulla qualità della sua voce e indirettamente su quella dei suoi allievi, alcuni dei quali si sono a loro volta avvicinati alla Tecnica Alexander. Dopo tre anni di lezioni assidue il nostro rapporto ha dato vita ad un'interessante forma di collaborazione che ci ha visti insegnare contemporaneamente Canto e Tecnica Alexander, con grande soddisfazione, nostra e degli allievi. Ora conosco Anna da qualche anno, ho visto l'entusiasmo con cui ha fondato l'AICI e si è fatta promotrice di iniziative di alto livello nella didattica del canto. La sua capacità di essere al tempo stesso allieva ed insegnante le permette di evolversi continuamente dando forma e sonorità ai suoi sogni, dei quali siamo tutti partecipi. Esistono persone che ti restano nel cuore per sempre; e anche se non le senti e non le vedi, sanno farti sentire la loro presenza perchè il solo pensare che esistano è sufficiente per ricevere una pacca sulla spalla, un incoraggiamento, un invito a non demordere. Per me Anna è una di queste persone. Nella mente, nel cuore, nell'anima e, adesso, grazie al nuovo sito, anche nel PC!!! Roby
