Singing lessons with Anna Programme for seminars tips
1 - The vocal technique
- Diaphragmatic breathing / abdominal
- Posture in singing
- The use of the vocal organs / resonant: larynx, pharynx, etc.,
- Breathing and projection
- Method Vocal Power Singing - The use of breathing / projection of the voice, Belting (usually used in pop, rock, jazz, musicals, etc. .. )
2 - Ear Training
- progressive exercises for intonation
- study of the major scales, minor scales, blues scale, chromatic scale, pentatonic scale, etc. and related exercises
- intervals
3 - Basic Repertoire
Includes the study of about 5 / 10 songs (standard) in English and Italian repertoire of classical pieces in order to verify: technique, intonation, rhythm, style, English pronunciation, diction
4 – Personalized Repertoire
The repertoire is chosen by the student according to the preferred style of music, the type of voice and personality. The study of the songs will be done with backing tracks and the teacher will take listen in particular to the interpretation, intonation, pronunciation of Italian and English. The student will be recorded on CD during the study of the track in order to be able to listen and correct any errors. Useful tips regarding the use of the microphone and the overall behavior on stage will also be given.
5 - Live Performances
During the year showcases are organized and Christmas Feast where students that the teacher considers appropriate can perform singing live. The goal is to help the student to learn to sing on stage and give them also the opportunity to be heard by musicians (who are looking for singers for their groups), producers and experts in the music field who are looking for new talents.
6- Voices CD
Nearly every year a CD is recorded and all the students who are ready can participate in the recording.
